Education
Art and language is an extremely special part of the Native American communities, and one of the most unique parts of the United States of America. Children of the Pueblo wishes to help preserve the artistic talents and beautiful language. We have a scholarship program, enabling high school students to take art to the next level with further education. The Institute of American Indian Art is located right in Santa Fe, and is a 4-year program. It's the only school in the US that is focused on contemporary Native American art. The school is 80% Native American and has enabled thousands of artists to turn their talent into a long lasting and successful career.
Holiday Services
Spreading cheer at times when families are experiencing more stress and cannot afford special holiday gifts or extras. Almost 50% of Native American children live in poverty, and many are raised by grandparents on a severely limited income. Children of the Pueblo provides practical gifts for the children: art supplies, books, winter jackets, etc. We provide families with grocery gift cards, fruit and food baskets, diapers for mothers, etc.
